Acting for Film
In this film intensive students take the principles of acting and translate them to working in front of a camera. Students learn how to slate and the basics of film audition etiquette. The focus of the week is on extensive scene study work using film scripts.
*Agents and casting directors are invited to have a talk back session with students about the business.
Stage Combat Workshop
In this two day workshop students learn how to create safe, realistic fighting techniques with an emphasis on hand-to-hand combat.

Audition/Business of Acting Workshop
This end of year workshop prepares students for theatre auditions. Using monologues from the second term, students learn audition techniques and etiquette. Students learn how to write a cover letter, put together a resume and headshot, how to find an agent, how to file taxes and other useful tidbits of information to prepare them for life as an actor.
