Neptune Theatre is proud to invite schools to attend productions through our Student Matinee Program, which educates and entertains grade school students while encouraging a lifelong interest in theatre arts.

Under our Student Matinee Program, select performances from our regular 2016/17 season are offered at reduced rates with 11am showtimes. To register your class, complete this form. Student Matinees are $25 per student for regular shows, taxes included. 1 comp ticket is available for every 20 purchased. Neptune's Young Company shows are also available for student matinees. A moving interpretation of Martin Luther King Jr.'s final night. On the evening of April 3, 1968, after delivering his speech "I've Been to the Mountaintop," the Reverend Martin Luther King Jr. retires to room 306 of the Lorraine Motel in Memphis, Tennessee. The next day, he would be assassinated. In this moving production by playwright Katori Hall, Dr. King's final hours are re-imagined as he confronts his destiny and legacy as a leading figure in the Civil Rights Movement.
