Find Your Funny Bone -  Physical Comedy Intensive

with Sherry Lee Hunter

Mondays, October 29 - December 10th

(No class on Monday, November 12th due to the holiday)

$120 +HST

This six week, 1.5 hr intensive will be a progression of study and exercises that will build the students knowledge and experience in the Art Form of Physical Comedy/Theatre/Mime.

Honesty and believability are the most important elements comprising this art form. Classes will include the exploration of Physical  comedy and its intricacies. The class will cover premise work, isolation exercises and illusions, character work, preparatory exercise, improvisation, creating sketches and the subtleties of performing.

This is the perfect class for anyone who needs to get out of their head and into their body and imaginations and play.  Beginners welcome!

If you are looking to add fun back into your life, Sherry Lee Hunter is the woman. As someone with acting experience, Sherry Lee’s class allowed me to shake the stress of performing off and reminded me to just have fun with it, whatever creative blocks I was feeling are now gone and I couldn’t feel more refreshed. For those with little to no experience, who are just looking for something new, fun, something to help you get you out of your head and into your body, look no further. Once a week, meet some new like minded people and together you forget about the outside world. I can hardly wait for the next class.”
