No. Bottled water & juice are available for sale and there is full bar service at the Theatre. Bottled water and juice purchased on-site will be permitted inside Fountain Hall and the Studio Theatre.

No. Cameras, video cameras and any other image or sound-recording devices are all strictly forbidden in theatre.

Neptune Theatre does not require you to purchase tickets in advance but it is best to do so. Please keep in mind that many of our performances sell out in advance and you may find that your seating choices are very limited, if there are any remaining seats at all.

We do occasionally cancel performances due to inclement weather, but our regular policies regarding exchanges and refunds are still in effect.

Yes. Gift certificates can be bought online, over the phone and in person. To purchase a gift certificate online, fill in this form and the Box Office will process your order. Please note all orders processed in this manner are subject to a $4 mailing fee, plus HST. You can also add a gift certificate to your online ticket order by clicking on the “Add a Gift Certificate” link at the top of the page.

From the airport: Take highway 102 South. At the Highway 118 junction, take highway 118 South and proceed to route 111 North. Cross the A. Murray MacKay Bridge (75 cent toll). Take the Barrington Street exit and follow Barrington Street until Sackville Street. Turn left onto Sackville Street and take the first left onto Argyle Street. Our main entrance is on the right hand side. To park at the Metro-Park, continue along Argyle Street and turn left onto Blowers. An entrance to the parkade is at the foot of Blowers Street.

We suggest that you arrive at least 30 minutes before a show. Those arriving after the show begins will be seated by Neptune Front of House Staff during an appropriate break in the program. Please don't be late.

Different shows have different running times. Call the box office to obtain the running time of the show you're attending.

Neptune Theatre has an infrared sound enhancement system for the hearing impaired. If you require a headset please ask one of our Front of House staff.

Like most theatres, Neptune Theatre does not offer refunds on tickets. All tickets purchased for a Neptune Theatre production can be exchanged for a different date and time of the same production (excepting extensions) 48 hours prior to your scheduled performance for a $3 plus HST per ticket exchange fee. Subscribers receive one complimentary exchange per production and tickets may be exchanged up to one half hour before show time; any additional exchanges are subject to the regular fee. Exchanges are subject to availability and do not apply to any missed performances. Exchanges are also not available from the original run of a production into any extension of that production.
You may also turn your ticket in to the box office and make it a tax-deductible donation to the Neptune Theatre Foundation.
There are no exchanges, cancellations or refunds on any tickets purchased through the Neptune Theatre Box Office for events that are not produced by Neptune Theatre.

All gift certificates must be redeemed either in person or by phone. If you are using your gift certificate over the phone a credit card may be needed to reserve your seats. If your total order is more than the value of your gift certificate the difference must be charged to a credit card. Gift certificates cannot be used when purchasing tickets online.

Vouchers are not tickets and do not guarantee seating. You can redeem your voucher in person or book your tickets over the phone. If booking over the phone a credit card may be needed to reserve your seats. Vouchers (including Flex Pack, Holiday, or Corporate Subscriptions) cannot be redeemed online. If you are ordering a voucher from Air Miles please ensure you order the correct voucher for the show you are planning to attend.

Yes. When ordering over the phone inform the clerk that you'd like your tickets mailed to you. When ordering tickets online, select "Mail Out Tickets" as your delivery method. The cost for mailing out tickets is $4 plus HST.

We are currently unable to process discounts online. If you are eligible for a discount we would be more than happy to book your tickets either in person or over the phone. Discounts must be mentioned at the time of purchase.

Tickets, once issued, cannot be re-issued. Please keep your tickets in a safe place. If you do lose your tickets, please call the Box Office as soon as you become aware of the loss. We cannot reprint your tickets, but we can issue a seating voucher for you to pick up at the box office.

Neptune Theatre is an accessible building for those with disabilities. If you require special assistance please let our Box Office know prior to the show. If you require an attendant/aid please call our Box Office and a complimentary ticket will be provided for your attendant.

Please wear something! There is no formal dress code enforced by Neptune Theatre. Most of our patrons will probably be dressed in a business casual style and some are dressed casually. Both are fine.

There are parking meters in the downtown core close to Neptune Theatre and the Metro-Park parkade at the foot of Blowers Street. Scotia Square and the Prince George Hotel offer parking as well. If you’d rather not worry about parking, many Metro Transit bus routes stop on Barrington Street near the theatre. Finding a good parking spot close to the theatre can sometimes be challanging so give yourself lots of time.
