A message from Neptune Theatre
In our 57 years, Neptune Theatre has never experienced the full closure of our theatre.
Over the last 2 weeks, we have all felt the sudden thrust of COVID-19 as it has taken unexpected control over the normalcy of our daily lives.
For those of us in the arts community, COVID-19 has closed the curtain on performances that are the essence of our industry.
At this time of great uncertainty, our commitment is to support our theatre community our employees, and to ensure that Neptune Theatre presents our 2020/2021 season.
The show must go on, and will go on, but we need your help. Our 2020/2021 season theme is Dream It. Be It. We are reaching out to you today to help bring the delightful season of theatre we have planned for you a reality. Because we are more reliant on ticket sales and less reliant on outside funding – we are left vulnerable. With bills to pay and no shows on stage, we are now challenged with meeting our financial obligations. Your support will help us withstand this difficult time.
Many are finding the uncertainty of these times difficult, but if you are in a position to help, please help by:
We want to express our sincere thanks for your support over the years and to our many friends who have already donated. Your support is critical in ensuring Neptune Theatre can continue to create memorable theatre experiences for all Nova Scotians.
We are in this together and look forward to welcoming you back into our house to celebrate.
