Our continued best wishes to you and your loved ones.
After careful deliberation, the staff and board of Neptune Theatre have decided to postpone our 2020-21 season.
We join a growing list of theatres who have made the difficult decision for the show not to go on. This is devastating for both our company and the community we serve – it will affect lives, livelihoods, community health, our local cultural landscape, and our regional economy. Nevertheless, we believe that postponing our season is the right move in the interest of public health and safety and in deference to an abundance of caution. Theatre relies on communities gathering together to share an experience, in real time, and in person. It is this magical exchange that makes our form of art unique – and it is also this very exchange that necessitates today’s announcement.
We will announce new dates as soon as we can. If you have tickets and would like to use them for the new dates, please hold on to them. We encourage you to make sure your email address is on file - this will guarantee you receive advance notice before the new dates and ticket sales are open to the general public. All purchases for the original run (August 4, 2020 - August 30, 2020) will be honored for the rescheduled dates.
If the new dates presented do not work for you, at that time we will ask you to consider the following:
To review your options, please contact the Box Office at boxoffice@neptunetheatre. com .
With the increased volume of inquiries coming through at this time, we ask our patrons to be patient and understanding as we respond to all inquiries and requests. A representative will get back to you as soon as possible.
Our thoughts remain with all those who have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic as we continue to explore new and interesting ways in which we can stay connected in this difficult time. While our 2020 season will not proceed as planned, please know that we are monitoring the situation carefully and we will be ready to adapt to new guidelines and change course as needed, and as often as necessary, until we can safely open our doors once again.
Please monitor our website and social media channels for further updates. We will be in touch with the new performance dates soon.
We thank you for your continued support of Neptune Theatre.
From all of us at Neptune Theatre, take care and stay safe.
