Here at Neptune, we believe that the magic of live theatre should be available for everyone. We are pleased to be able to offer lower-priced options for tickets, made available through our partners, for programs such as Bell Aliant Pay What You Can and Sun Life Share the Stage. We also provide wheelchair accessible seating, sensory-friendly performances, and ASL-interpreted performances.
The Sun Life Financial Share the Stage program provides accessible tickets to members and groups in the community who might otherwise not have the opportunity to experience live theatre. The arts celebrate multiple perspectives and exposure to it a vital and enriching experience with memories to last a lifetime.
On select dates throughout the season, Neptune Theatre offers ASL-interpreted performances for the Deaf and hearing-impaired members of our community. These performances feature real-time ASL interpretation by a team of qualified interpreters, working alongside the action of the play. Whether in Fountain Hall or on the Scotiabank Stage, our teams work to create a fully realized theatre experience that can be enjoyed by both Deaf and hearing audiences.
Throughout the season, Neptune Theatre offers relaxed performances, which are designed to welcome audience members who would benefit from a more relaxed environment, including (but not limited to) those with sensory sensitivities, learning differences, autism spectrum disorder, and first-time theatregoers. Minor production changes are made to reduce startling effects and there is a relaxed attitude towards audience noise and movement. We invite all patrons to come, be themselves and experience live theatre!
