March Break Camps

Neptune Theatre School's March Break Camps are almost sold out! These fun, creative, theatre based Camps will run Monday-Friday,  March 18th-22nd (5 days).

Camps will occur from 9am-4pm, at the Shambhala School on Russell Street (with the exception of LA Technique); with courses in drama and musical theatre.

4-6yrs (Drama) Patrol for Dramatic 'Paws'


Bring your pup pack, and get ready to play! Adventure awaits us in this Paw Patrol themed drama camp. Choose your special skill to help our team create an exciting mini performance, and we’ll see you in Adventure Bay!

4-6yrs (Musical) You've Got a Friend In Me


Howdy partners! Saddle up, and head on down to this spectacular song-and-dance camp! Full of music, games, and activities; there’s fun to be had and friendships to be made.

7-9yrs (Drama) Tell Your (Toy) Story


Whether it’s “To infinity and beyond!”, or, “Reach for the sky!”; in this camp we will explore the dynamic art of storytelling. With inspiration from the likes of Sheriff Woody and Buzz Lightyear, we will work together to create our own toy-tally awesome play.

7-9yrs (Musical) Big Time Movie Musical


Get ready to sing and dance to your favourite movie musical hits! We’ll take a look at the biggest musicals to hit movie theatres in the past ten years, and work on a high quality song and dance routine. With games, activities, warm ups, and foundations in musical theatre technique, you’ll be in the pictures in no time!

10-12yrs (Drama) Galaxy Far, Far Away....


A long time ago in a galaxy far, far away…. you finish the rest! Create your own character and backstory from the Star Wars universe, and let’s see what kind of play we can create. Whether you fight for justice, or have chosen the dark side, the force is strong with you! 

10-12yrs (Musical) This Is Me Camp


Show us who you really are! Everyone has the opportunity to shine in this musical theatre camp. Together we’ll work on hits from movie musicals such as The Greatest Showman and Hairspray, and develop our skills as true triple threats. Look out, ‘cause here we come!

LA Technique Level 1

Intro to LA Technique (morning) for 13-18 
Kristin Howell brings her incredible LA Technique Training to our March Break Camps. In this course for youth 13-18, students will learn how to prepare sides, rock an audition and some tricks to creating a character. This intensive is perfect for anyone interested in learning more about the casting process and reading scripts. This technique is applicable to any medium, and we will be focusing on film/ tv. Kiki will help you build confidence and gain the skills needed to take your acting to the next level.

Leader In Training Program


This program is aimed at training students to in arts leadership and instruction. Students should be 15yrs+. This year the program  will run from March 18-March 22, 2019 8:30am-4:30. Students will attend training sessions in the morning, and then get to shadow in our March Break camps in the afternoon. To apply please fill out the Application Form by February 15th:

Please note : Camps will go off sale at 5pm the day before camps start. Please complete your booking prior to that time.

  • Students 14 years and older must add 15% HST.
  • Students should bring their own snacks and lunches. Neptune Theatre School is NUT & SHELLFISH FREE.
  • Pre and post camp care is available for students needing to be dropped off and/or picked up outside of regular camp hours. Pre camp care allows students to be dropped off between 8am-9am. Post camp care allows students to be picked up between 4pm-5pm. These services cost $25 each, and are valid for the whole week.
  • Students who have a birthday within two months of a class's start date may sign up for that class (i.e. if your child is 6, but will turn 7 within two months of a 7-9 class starting, they may be signed up for the older class.)
  • Neptune Theatre is the sole owner of the information collected here and on our website. We will not sell, share, or rent this information to others.
  • Neptune Theatre Foundation cannot be held responsible for accidents or injuries incurred in classes, or on its premises. Students/parents are financially responsible for any physical damage they/their children do to the building.
  • All classes and camps are subject to a $35 non refundable fee per enrollment.
  • Some classes have a minimum registration and if that number is not met the class will not be offered. You will be notified of any canceled classes.
