13-18yrs (Level 1) Inspired Collaborator 101

(10am - 4pm)

Acting is not a solo act. We may have to keep social distancing - but there are so many ways to collaborate with others. Working together we will explore different writing, movement, vocal and even filmic collaborations. What stories do we want to tell? How can the ideas of others inspire us in our own creativity. Oh! And some laughs and fun along the way.

All levels welcome.

(10am - 4pm)

Improv, clown, movement, mime are stepping stones to being a true creator. Exploring elements of dance, comedia del arte, mask, spoken word and other contemporary interpretations, we will look at different cultural and historic aspects of collective creation. How can we break tradition? What are the pitfalls of traditional creation? How can we change the story and move towards a more inclusive space? Be the next generation of theatre. Show the world what you’ve got!
