Ages 7-9


Classes will run Saturdays in the Fall, Winter, and Spring. For ages 7-9, we offer classes in Drama and Musical Theatre. Sign-in is at the Scotiabank Stage entrance of Neptune Theatre on Argyle Street.

Our goal with our Seasonal Classes is to build up students through three focuses.

Fall - Character Creation

Using theatre games and exercises to explore our vocal and physical abilities, students will break out of their shells in new and exciting ways.

Winter - Page to Stage

January 18th - March 7th

11:15 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

SOLD OUT

In this class, students will bridge the gap between their favourite stories and live performance. With the help of some basic scripts, this class will bring their favourite characters to life!

Spring - Theatre of the Imagination

March 28th - May 9th

(no class on April 11th)

11:15 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

With a focus on working together, building on ideas, and making clear, concise choices, students will create a presentation from scratch.

Fall - Tiny Triple Threats: Skills

October 12th - November 30th

While exploring the basics, we will work on different group numbers from the musical theatre repertoire. Through routine games and warm-ups, our students build confidence and explore the joys of musical theatre performance.

Winter - Tiny Triple Threats: Perform

We’ve done our basics, now it’s time to shine! Students will continue to work as a group, while also having the opportunity to showcase solo talent.

Spring - Tiny Triple Threats: Create

March 28th - May 9th

9:45 a.m.-11:15 a.m.

Dive into the different interpretations of movement and dance, and discover how different characters influence different songs. Take a look at genres, tempo, body language, and more, and put your own stamp on a show-stopping number!
