Dickens' A Christmas Carol

Director/Writer: Jeremy Webb
Director of Photography/Editor: Terrence Taylor
Composer: Scott Macmillan
The Actor: Rhys Bevan-John
The Puppeteer: Simon Henderson
Stage Manager/Lighting Designer: Jessica Lewis

Jeremy Webb’s adaptation of Dickens’ A Christmas Carol is once again brought lovingly to life with this hilarious and haunted holiday experience. It’s a memorable story about the true spirit of Christmas.

A long-standing holiday tradition on the theatre scene in Halifax since premiering in 2003, Webb’s adaptation of Dickens’ A Christmas Carol has also been toured across the province and into the United States to critical acclaim.

Webb originally starred in the production, playing more than 20 roles with Rhys Bevan-John as the puppeteer. In 2015, Bevan-John stepped into the spotlight to play the beloved characters of Scrooge, Bob Cratchit, Tiny Tim, and the others, with Simon Henderson as the puppeteer. The production has now been seen by over 600,000 people in Canada & the USA in 17 years.

Dickens' A Christmas Carol was filmed earlier this year at Neptune Theatre as part of a multi-camera shoot, creating a high-quality cinematic experience.
