Neptune Theatre is where Nova Scotia gathers to laugh louder, think deeper, sing along, and see ourselves reflected onstage. Proudly rooted in Halifax since 1963, we are the longest-running regional theatre in Canada and a cultural keystone in Nova Scotia, built on creativity, resilience, and a deep love of storytelling.

We are artists, craftspeople, administrators, dreamers, educators, technicians, volunteers, audiences, and community champions. We are resourceful by nature and passionate by design, creating world-class theatre on the edge of the Atlantic with heart, hustle, and imagination. From spectacular musicals and beloved classics to bold new Canadian stories, we believe live theatre has the power to spark conversation, build connection, and leave a lasting mark long after the curtain falls.
