Dance Classes with Tracy FanousDig into the foundations and techniques of the three most prominent styles of dance used in Music Theatre Choreography. Over each four week session, students will also work on a choreography piece inspired by that particular style, giving them the opportunity to put the techniques and movement quality they’ve learned into practice while developing their performance and musical theatre skills. Attend the style that interests you most, drop in when you can, or book all three sessions.

The L.A. Technique - Level 1 with Kirstin HowellThe LA Technique is an applicable and repeatable system for scene analysis, character creation, audition technique, and acting. Created by Kirstin Howell and based on the work she learned in Los Angeles, the LA Technique is a well-rounded way of approaching the craft of acting, preparing to be a ‘working actor’, and making ourselves as hireable as possible. This fun and engaging three week course is an introduction to acting. We will cover the basics of scene analysis, character creation, rehearsal, memorization, and mining the script for the ‘secret code’. We will also cover marketing strategies such as headshots, resumés, finding your ‘hit’ and more! At the end of the course you will be ready to handle your next audition or booking with confidence and ease! Although the technique can be applied to any medium, we will be focusing on film and television sides for this course. All levels of experience are welcome!
Mondays, from October 19 - November 2, 2026 (3 sessions)6:00 - 9:00 PM (3 hours) $200 + HST Who: Adults 16+ Where: Neptune Theatre. Please enter through the Scotiabank Theatre entrance upon arrival. Register Here |
