Students will work on elevating their skills as musical theatre artists through dance and acting through song. Students will learn how to select and approach repertoire that highlights their unique talents and build a toolbox of powerful performance strategies. Students will find confidence and comfort on the stage by collaborating on ensemble choreography, connecting to lyrics through character work, and building foundational singing technique. This week will culminate in a final showcase for family and friends.

ACTING FOR THE CAMERA (AGES 13-18, DRAMA)

Students will explore film acting, scene study, and the behind the scenes roles involved in filmmaking. Students will be taken through the experience of preparing and filming a self-tape and being directed in a film scene. Students will then apply what they’ve learned by creating their own scenes. The week will culminate in a final showcase for family and friends.
